Equipment Techniques is a specialty program designed for divers who want to deepen their knowledge of diving equipment. In this program, you’ll learn how diving equipment functions, how to use it correctly, and how to properly maintain it. However, biennial maintenance must still be performed by a service technician authorized by the manufacturer.
Good knowledge of your equipment not only increases comfort but also safety during diving. Equipment Techniques focuses on understanding, correct use, and recognizing potential problems before and during the dive.
This program is primarily knowledge-based and can be completed without water training.
