Open Water Diver

From your first exercises at TODI to your first dives in open water: during the 26-hour Open Water Diver course, you’ll build skills and confidence step by step. You’ll earn an internationally recognized certification that allows you to dive independently with a buddy who is at least equally certified. No experience is necessary.

What can you expect?

Open Water Diver is the most popular entry-level certification within the SSI training system. This program provides the necessary knowledge and skills to dive independently with a buddy of at least equal certification, without direct supervision from an SSI Professional.

The course combines theory, complete dive sessions in our aquarium, and open water training dives. The focus is on developing safe diving skills, problem-solving abilities, and underwater confidence.

SSI Open Water Diver leads to an internationally recognized diving certification.
