- Minimum Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Basic buoyancy control recommended
- Own camera – with knowledge of the user manual for the “personal” specific device.

Photo & Video
Get more out of your underwater photos and videos. You’ll learn to work with light, composition, and your own camera, all while maintaining stable and controlled diving. This way, you’ll develop the basic skills to capture your diving experiences.
What can you expect?
Photo & Video is a specialty program designed for divers who want to learn the basic principles of underwater photography and videography. This program focuses on the correct use of camera equipment and improving image quality underwater.
Underwater shooting requires specific techniques and an understanding of light, stability, and composition. During this program, you’ll learn how to dive safely and efficiently with photo and video equipment, without compromising control and safety.
The focus is on technique, equipment use, and practical application.

How your dive proceeds
Check-in
Check in at the counter 15 minutes beforehand. You’ll receive a colored wristband – always wear it visibly, it grants access to the Experience Zone. Your 2-hour dive session starts now.
Change clothes
- Put on your swimwear
- Store your belongings in a locker (opened with your wristband)
- Go barefoot to the fourth floor (stairs or elevator)
- Bring your own dive gear with you
Disinfect gear & shower
- Go through the foot bath and take a shower
- Pick up rented gear
- Disinfect it in the sink and rinse.
- Shower again before entering the water
After your dive
- Disinfect your gear
- Return the gear
- Change clothes
- Deposit your wristband in the box – within 2 hours.
Certification and follow-up opportunities
After completing the program:
- The participant receives the Photo & Video Specialty certification
- The diver possesses basic knowledge of underwater shooting
- The diver can use equipment more safely and efficiently
After Photo & Video, you can continue with:
