Know what to do when someone needs help. During React Right, you’ll combine theory with practical exercises in first aid, CPR, oxygen administration, and AED use. You’ll practice emergency scenarios and learn to work together to act effectively. A diving certification is not required.
React Right is SSI’s official first aid program, providing you with the knowledge and skills to respond to medical emergencies — both above and below water. You’ll learn how to administer first aid, perform CPR, stabilize an injured person, and execute emergency procedures as part of a team. Additionally, you can learn to work with oxygen systems and an automated external defibrillator (AED).
During this hands-on program, you’ll practice realistic scenarios, building your confidence and teaching you to remain calm under pressure. Upon completion, you’ll be able to effectively respond to various emergency situations and be prepared to help others when every second counts.
After completing the training, you’ll receive the SSI React Right certification — a prerequisite for several advanced courses, including Diver Stress & Rescue and SSI Professional programs.
